CALABAR – The Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board, CR-SUBEB, has taken delivery of 20 mini buses under the 2025 UBEC/CR-SUBEB Quality Assurance Intervention.
The buses were presented to the Board to strengthen monitoring and supervision of basic schools across the 18 Local Government Areas of the state.
Speaking during the handover, officials said the vehicles will enhance the mobility of quality assurance teams to ensure effective teaching, learning, and compliance with UBEC standards in public primary and junior secondary schools.
The Chairman of CR-SUBEB, Mrs. Fidelia Okpo Ene, Esq, described the intervention as a major boost to education delivery in the state, and commended UBEC and Governor Bassey Otu for their continued support to Cross River State.
