The Department of Social Mobilization, Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board (CR-SUBEB), in collaboration with the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), Abuja, today, Wednesday, 26th August 2026, organized a State-Level Advocacy and Official Flag-Off of the REACH Programme aimed at supporting the reintegration of Out-of-School Children (OOSC) into the formal education system.

Despite the heavy rainfall experienced today, staff of Cross River State universal Basic Education Board (CR-SUBEB) demonstrated remarkable commitment and dedication by coming out in large numbers for the street walk. The participants carried advocacy banners and sensitized members of the public on the importance of returning out-of-school children to school.

The event provided an opportunity to raise public awareness, mobilize communities, and encourage stakeholders to support the REACH Programme and ensure that every child of school age has access to basic education.
